I find that Rosetta Stone offers dicounts (50percent) but do not honor that discount. this may be against some of your ethics but hell, if you need to learn a new language and you are broke it IS an option.
If its really that big of a problem to you just go pirate it. While its true that the 500 price tag is really really steep for this software, It DOES do its job well.
